Tree Trimming On 40th Avenue Set For Tuesday

Tree trimming along a section of 40th Avenue will impact traffic for about three hours on Tuesday.
City of Yakima crews will be cutting back branches on trees along 40th Avenue between Englewood Avenue and Lincoln Avenue to improve driver and pedestrian safety in the area from 11:00 am until about 2:00 pm  Southbound traffic along that section of 40th Avenue will be diverted into a northbound lane, resulting in traffic moving through the project area in one lane in each direction.

Flaggers will be in place to reroute drivers through the area where tree trimming operations will be underway.
