Adam Levine, one of the stars of the hit TV show The Voice and front man for the music group Maroon Five was just named the sexiest man alive.  Poor fellow. Who knew all the trouble this pronouncement portends!Millions of fans dream of hooking up with the likes of George Clooney, Natalie Portman. Brad Pitt and Mr. Levin, but gorgeous men and women are not a good bet for a long lasting relationship, says a recent study.

Researchers found that people with "perfect," symmetrical faces are more selfish, less cooperative and more likely to go their own way. They are usually hardier, too, and do not suffer from genetic conditions, so they are more likely to rely on themselves and not others.

As people with symmetrical faces tend to be healthier and more attractive, they are also more self-sufficient and have less of an incentive to cooperate and seek help from others, says the study made at universities in Spain and Scotland.

So as the song says: "If you want to be happy for the rest of your life never make a pretty woman your wife." And that goes for handsome guys, too.
