New Yakima City Manager Tony O'Rourke is expected to take the oath of office during an early Yakima city council meeting this morning. The city will hold its regular agenda meeting at 10 a.m. today so O'Rourke can be sworn into office. O'Rourke signed his contract in May that pays him an annual salary of $175-thousand dollars. O'Rourke comes from South Lake Tahoe, California where he was a city manager, a position he held since August 2010.  Prior to taking the job in South Lake Tahoe, O’Rourke had been the executive director of Beaver Creek Resort company since 1996.
