Toddler Drowns In Yakima Canal

Family members of 18-month-old Tanner Morrison were watching him May 12 when Yakima County Sheriff's deputies say the family lost site of him for only one minute. Then panic set in, 911 was called, and authorities soon found the child in an irrigation canal in the 2 hundred block of North 34th Street. Medics were unable to revive him at the scene.
