Primary Election Day is a week from Tuesday.

Yakima County Auditor Corky Holloway says voters have until next Tuesday to fill out their ballots and send them in for next Tuesday evening's count. Holloway says about 107, 000 ballots were sent out for the Primary Election.

And while it's already been a busy election season with a long list of candidates running for Yakima County sheriff and the 4th District Congressional race, voters now have two more choices. Curtis Vangstad, a Republican from Zillah, and Republican Scott Brumback of Yakima both want your votes as write-in candidates. Brumback, a Yakima attorney, is running for the 14th Legislative District seat held by Rep. Norm Johnson and Vangstad is a write-in candidate for the Yakima County Commission seat held by Rand Elliot in District 3.
