Here's a classic music video for your Saturday!

Back in the fall of 1978, the Central Washington State Fair brought in one of my favorite 1970s acts to be one of the grandstand show headliners. I wangled a press credential and show pass from my boss, Al Bell, and was in front of the stage when Pablo Cruise started playing.

The group was formed in 1973 in the San Francisco Bay Area, and hit it big nationally in 1977 with their album "A Place in the Sun" and the hit singles "Whatcha Gonna Do?" and "Love Will Find A Way." When I was loading my iPod with music from gift cards my family gave me for Christmas, those two songs were among the first I purchased.

Pablo Cruise played the fair again a few years ago, but I missed it that time. The band still tours mostly in California with three of the original members.

But, through the magic of videos, we can go back in time to see the 1970s fashions and hear the 1970s sounds of Pablo Cruise. This is "Love Will find A Way."

Enjoy!
