Three people have been arrested on burglary charges after being arrested in Selah on Thursday morning.

Yakima County Sheriff's Deputies say the first incident was reported by homeowners on Commonwealth Drive in Terrace Heights when they found three suspects near their home after returning from a short trip. The homeowners noticed a back gate open and a loose window screen. The suspects fled before deputies arrived.

About two hours later, another burglary was reported in the 600 block of North 14th Street in Selah. The suspects reportedly matched the three males from the Terrace Heights incident.

A Yakima County Sheriff's Deputy found the suspect vehicle that was spotted in Terrace Heights in the Selah and stopped the vehicle. Selah Police and sheriff's deputies stopped the vehicle and took the three suspects into custody.

The suspects are identified as two juvenile males ages 16 and 17, and an 18-year-old man from Yakima. Police booked the adult into the Yakima County Jail and the two minors into the Yakima County Juvenile Detention facility.
