Two adult children and the son-in-law of the couple killed on U.S. Highway 2 near Leavenworth on Friday remained at Harborview Medical Center today, all in serious but stable condition. They were passengers in the Chevrolet Suburban driven by Bothell resident Timothy Owen. Owen and Cheryl Janine Reed were killed when their vehicle was struck by a falling tree. Jessica Owen, Jaime Owen Mayer and her husband, Steven Mayer, were transferred Saturday to Harborview from Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee. Their son, Jeremy Owen, was treated at Central Washington Hospital and released. The accident was the first of two that left two dead and nine injured. The pass, closed by officials on Saturday, was reopened Tuesday afternoon. In the other accident, five people were injured Saturday when their car slammed into a fallen tree as they were traveling over Stevens Pass.
