The Yakima Regional Clean Air Agency is hoping more people will pay attention to burn bans. Agency spokesman Dave Caprile says when burn bans are in place there’s about a 50 to 60 percent compliance rate in the Valley. Caprile however says the agency is hoping to improve that compliance rate in the near future. Caprile says if you burn anything pay attention to local media, check out the website at yakimacleanair.org or call the office at 834 2050 to see if a burn ban is in place.
