The Skyrocket Slows A Little – Craft Beer Buy Out

Craft beers have been all the rage in recent years and that’s been another sales opportunity for area hop growers. But now the rate of growth of sales is beginning to slow.

The Brewers Association revealed earlier this week that craft beer production is slowing due to big-beer buyouts of independent breweries.

Fortune magazine reports craft beer production only grew by six percent in 2016 compared to 13 percent in 2015 and 18 percent in 2014. (Fox)
