The Yakima City Council holds a Noon meeting Today to talk about the search for a new city manager. The council will consider applications from eight candidates and could name some finalists for the job. Yakima city attorney Jeff Cutter is now the interim city manager since the permanent manager, Tony O'Rourke resigned last November. The city contracted with the executive search firm of Prothman Co. in Issaquah to find those who want the job of Yakima city manager.The meeting starts at Noon today at Yakima City Hall.
