Thank You Yakima For Your Donations To Veterans

A lot of homeless veterans in the Yakima Valley will be a little warmer this Fall and Winter thanks to your donations. The Yakima Valley Veterans Coalition has wrapped up it's jacket and blanket drive and people in the community donated hundreds of the items. The jackets and blankets will be washed and dry cleaned and be ready to be given to veterans during the upcoming Stand Down and Benefits Fair at State Fair Park. The event will be held October 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Modern Living building. Veterans and their families are encouraged to attend.
