Texas Man Arrested For Truck Assault

Yakima Police arrested a 42-year-old man from Texas on Tuesday who they say hit two people with his truck and threatened another with a rifle. The incident was reported at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the former Black Angus restaurant parking lot at 501 North Front Street. Richard Cox is being held in the Yakima County jail facing DUI and assault charges. The two people who were struck were taken to a Yakima Hospital with injuries.
