Flowers, chocolates, candy, a romantic dinner. These are all pretty standard when it comes to Valentine's Day gifts. But think about it. What is the most romantic thing you've ever done for Valentine's Day?

When it comes to a gift or act for Valentine's Day, some people take the simple route with a card and small gift. Others go all out with a lavish getaway weekend at a secluded, romantic resort.  How about you? Do you go simple, extravagant, or somewhere in the middle?

I remember a girl I was dating years ago when Valentine's Day rolled around. I cooked her dinner, and filled my small apartment up with about fifty lit candles. OK, I stole the idea from an episode of the 80s TV show "St. Elsewhere," but it looked pretty cool, and she liked it.
