Teenage Boy Shot in The Head Dies. Toppenish Police Searching for Suspects

Toppenish police are searching for suspects in the shooting of a 15-year-old boy, who died after he was shot in the head Wednesday night in a gang related shooting. Police say a white pickup truck with four people inside, all wearing red, drove up on Jose Rodriguez of Buena, and a friend walking along the 700 block of Madison Avenue. They got into an argument when police say three people inside the truck got out and started chasing the victims. One of them shot Rodriguez once in the head at close range. The boy's friend got away on foot and the attackers drove from the scene. Rodriguez was taken to a local hospital and then transferred to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he died.
