Tax Time Comes Two Days Late This Year

A week from today your taxes are due. David Tucker from the IRS says because of a holiday in Washington DC this year taxes are due on April 18th instead of the traditional April 15th due date. That means some extra time to file those taxes. Tucker says those who wait until the last minute often make mistakes. Tucker says if you've waited until now to file think about filing electronically at irs.gov. He says the software will spot last minute mistakes. On the other hand if you owe and you dont' think you can make next Monday's deadline you can file for an extension.
