Taste The Rainbow Event Introduces Healthy New Foods
March is National Nutrition Month and patients and families of the Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic (YVFWC) will have a chance to taste the rainbow of fruits and veggies.
The free taste tempter takes place in English from 4 to 5 pm on March 29 and in Spanish on March 31st from 4 to 5 at 514 West First Avenue in Toppenish.
Organizer say they hope to get kids 4 to 8 years of age to try new healthy food items.
Space for the event is limited, so participants are being asked to register for the event by calling the clinic at (509) 865-5600.
