Talking Red Wine and Chocolate on KIT’s Mike Bastinelli Show [AUDIO]

Wine Country in the Yakima Valley is host to several big events designed to attract wine lovers from all over the Northwest.

Spring Barrel Tasting is held the last weekend in April, where wine fans can taste wine from the barrel and their bottled cousins. Thanksgiving in Wine Country celebrates the harvest and the fall crush.

President's Day weekend is host to Red Wine and Chocolate, where local wineries pair Yakima Valley red wines with various chocolate delights.

Barb Glover from Wine Yakima Valley, and George Petzinger of Lookout Point Winery  were guests on Friday's Mike Bastinelli show. They talked about this weekend's event, wine tourism, and the evolution of wineries in our area.
