It is easy to guess who is happy to see recent stormy weather even in spite of 70 mile an hour winds at White Pass that led them to close the slopes Friday.
While ski areas in the west are in desperate need of snow, officials at the White Pass ski area say they have been able to open 80 percent of the terrain since Dec. 12.
