Look down, you'll soon seen some improvements in sidewalks. Yakima recently received over $800,000 to increase visibility of traffic signals and install new sidewalk ramps. The money will also upgrade traffic signs and add sidewalks and is broken into two separate projects

The city of Union Gap is improving streets and sidewalks near the Valley Mall in preparation for new businesses. A stretch of Washington Avenue will get a new layer of asphalt and more than a dozen sidewalks in the area will be brought up to ADA code

Inproved Traffic Flow In Yakima

The configuration of the intersection of Summitview Avenue, Yakima Avenue, and 7th Avenue is being revised in order to improve traffic flow.
