Less than 24 hours after arriving at Millenium Plaza in downtown Yakima, the city's community Christmas tree was erected and subsequently knocked down by the ferocious winds that the valley endured Tuesday night (11/26) and Wednesday morning.

Yakima's annual Fresh Hop Ale Festival (Oct. 5), held near the end of hop harvest each year at Millenium Plaza in downtown, has finally gotten so big it is moving a couple of blocks to accommodate the throng expected.
