A campground outside Naches became the latest bulls-eye of a fast-moving wildfire Monday morning. Crews managed to save the Wonderland campground. No one was hurt thanks to a quick response by firefighters

A breeze is blowing through the valley today clearing a lot of the smoke that caused breathing problems and forced the cancellation of football games and the SunFair parade. The Pollution Control Officer for the Yakima Regional Clean Air Agency has declared a Stage 1 Burn Ban for both the Upper and Lower Yakima County areas, due to residual smoke originating from the Cle Elum wildfire.
