A suspicious device found at Legends Casino in Toppenish yesterday was removed by a bomb squad and there is still no word on what was found.

The casino and surrounding buildings were closed and evacuated while a bomb squad from the Tri-Cities worked nearby.

It’s always better to error on the side of caution because you never know when one of these devices are real.

The suspicious looking device was discovered by employees in a trash can near the front entrance.

Cars trying to visit the casino were told to keep moving. The bomb squad removed the device and an investigation is underway.
