Suspects in Grizzly Bear Espresso Robbery Arrested

The Grizzly Bear Espresso on Fruitvale Blvd. was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday morning but Yakima Police arrested the two suspects.

At about 6:00 a.m. the 23-year-old barista was alone when the two suspects confronted her. She tried to run out of the building but the suspects fired shots at her forcing her back in the stand. They then robbed her of her money and money from the till and then stole her car.

Police spotted the stolen car this morning and a chase ended with a vehicle crash at 23rd avenue and Englewood. Both suspects, ages 18 and 19 fled on foot but were arrested.

They are being held in the Yakima County jail on robbery and eluding charges.
