Yakima County Sheriff's Deputies are searching for two suspects who they say robbed and assaulted a UPS delivery truck driver Thursday afternoon in the 2900 block of South 16th Avenue. Authorities say the 25-year-old driver of the UPS truck was sent to the hospital for a non-life threatening wounds and is expected to make a full recovery. The suspects, driving a green Honda stopped near the UPS truck and assaulted the driver. Deputies don't know if anything was stolen from the truck. The suspects were wearing dark clothing wearing bandanas on their faces. After assaulting the driver he told deputies the suspects drove away North on 16th Avenue. Authorities are searching for the suspects today.
