Suspect in Grandview Shooting Tied to Second Attack

KNDO

The Yakima County Sheriff’s office continues to look for a 21-year-old man wanted in connection with the murder of a 20-year-old man at a house party in Grandview in December.

That murder suspect, Miguel Angel Martinez is also now wanted in connection with another shooting. Martinez is accused of shooting and killing Carmen Johnson.

As a result of a separate homicide investigation, Sheriff’s detectives have now also positively identified Martinez as the person that shot four teenagers on July 28, 2013 at another party in Outlook.

Detectives are searching for Martinez as he faces four counts of Assault 1 in addition to the murder charge.
