Firefighters in Yakima worked to put out the flames at a home on South Third Avenue early Sunday morning.

No injuries were reported.

Investigators say it could have been caused by an electrical problem. Firefighters were called to the home in the 1200 block of South Third at about 4:30 a.m.

When they arrived everyone was outside and able to escape, thanks to one of the residents who had returned from work and noticed the fire. That person was able to alert others in the home who were asleep.

Firefighters say the fire had not breached interior walls to activate the smoke detectors. Damage to the home is estimated at $150,000.
