Student OK After Being Stabbed at CWU Campus

A student at Central Washington University suffered minor wounds after being stabbed while walking on the school campus at about 4 a.m. Monday.

Ellensburg police say the student, who hasn't been identified, was walking to his car in a parking lot when the male attacker approached him and pulled a knife. The suspect used the knife to strike the student several times. The student ran to a nearby emergency phone to call police.

The suspect left before police arrived.
