I had a chance to stroll around State Fair Park on opening day last Friday, and I brought back pictures of some of my favorite things.

I love the Central Washington State Fair, especially on Day One, when everything is fresh and new.  I thought I'd share some photos of the things that I look forward to seeing every year.

First, there's the food. This year, some of the old favorites return along with some brand-new offerings.

I also have to make a quick trip into the Agriculture Building to see the Grange and FFA exhibits.

And you get to see the biggest and smallest animals in the world at the fair!

I think I've just scratched the surface when it comes to things to see and do at this year's fair.

What are some of your favorite things at the fair?
