Street Fair Fun For Family Health at Weekend Fiesta — Dave’s Diary

Can a health fair really be fun?  If the thousands of folks and families who show up each year is any indication, I would say the answer is YES!

The Fiesta de Salud Health Fair is a fun, family-friendly event offering health screenings, health information, a fitness obstacle course and other entertainment for adults and children. Free cholesterol, diabetes, osteoporosis and blood pressure screenings will be available and thanks to the generous support of Kohl’s Department Stores, bike helmets will be provided to the first 500 children who attend the event.

The event is sponsored by Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital, the Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic and Fiesta Foods, and is supported in part by Seattle Children’s Hospital, The Memorial Foundation and Kohl’s

Fiesta de Salud will be held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, at the Modern Living Building at Yakima State Fair Park, 1301 S. Fair Ave.
