State Patrol Investigating Deadly Accident Near Zillah

The Washington State Patrol is investigating a fatal accident in Yakima County.

Troopers tell KNDO News 59-year-old Jose Ceniceros was driving westbound on Interstate 82 near milepost 51 Friday when he hit a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Adriana Weishaar. Ceniceros lost control of his vehicle and rolled multiple times onto the shoulder after the two vehicles made contact.

Ceniceros was killed in the accident.

Weishaar had three juvenile passengers in her vehicle but none were injured.

Troopers are not sure what caused the accident and there is no indication if drugs or alcohol played a factor.
