Is there a little green beer in your future?  How about some corned beef and cabbage…and some MORE green beer?  On March 17th most of will claim a little Irish in the family tree as we celebrate Saint Patrick’s day but in truth, Wallethub says Pittsburgh, Boston and Omaha have the highest density of people of Irish descent.

St. Patrick’s Day  is this Thursday so get your checkbook!  The National Retail Federation says St. Paddy’s party people will pump $4.4 billion into the economy!  That’s a lot of green going for going green and the leprechaun math works out to 125 million Irish wannabe’s spending about $35 on average.

I’ll probably sit this one out and that’s sort of the national norm. The holiday being most popular with young adults 18-74 with about 70% of them planning on kicking up their little green heels!

Did we mention the green beer?  Industry experts say St. Patrick’s Day accounts for one percent of annual beer sales!
