Spring Barrel Tasting Next Weekend In The Yakima Valley

Wine lovers will flood the valley this weekend for the annual Spring Barrel Tasting event. Barb Glover with Wine Yakima Valley says nearly every winery in the valley will be open serving wine from the barrel. But tasting future wine isn't the only thing happening during the weekend. Each winery has something special happening from live music and special food to wine maker dinners. Thousands of people from the westside of the state are expected to visit the valley. Glover says spring barrel tasting makes a big impact on the local economy. It starts at 10 Friday morning and continues through Sunday night.
