Special Seahawks Exhibit Opens at Seattle’s EMP Museum
"We Are 12, The Seattle Seahawks and the Road to Victory" opened at the Seattle Center's EMP Museum on Tuesday, October 14.
The exhibit celebrates the special relationship the team has with its fans, the 12s, and explores the team's success in the modern era under the ownership of Paul Allen.
According to Seahawks.com, here's what fans will see.
Iconic artifacts including the Vince Lombardi Trophy, Super Bowl XLVIII ring, a game-used Super Bowl XLVIII football, original player uniforms, helmets, handwritten coach’s notes, and more.
During the regular season, a new game day artifact will be featured after each home game.
“Call the Play” interactive allows visitors to experience and hear what it’s like to be the opposing team playing in the loudest stadium in the NFL.
Exhibit films featuring exclusive interviews with players, Head Coach Pete Carroll, General Manager John Schneider, and team President Peter McLoughlin.
Stats Wall infographic illustrating impressive Seahawks facts including the height of CB Richard Sherman’s vertical jump, the size of QB Russell Wilson’s hand, record-breaking decibel level inside CenturyLink Field, and more.
A special section dedicated to the 12s will showcase personal stories and interviews that demonstrate the important role Seahawks fans have played in the team’s success.
Throughout the season EMP will host special Seahawks-themed events including Blue Friday deals at POP Kitchen Bar, Madden NFL gaming in Sky Church, and more.
