I have a couple of adult vegetarian daughters who are pretty passionate about it. Which is perfect because I eat enough meat for the three of us and I have an endless source of parental teasing material at every meal!

There are different reasons that people go vegetarian -- because they're trying to be healthier or it's better for the environment, or for animal empathy -- but if a vegetarian says that it's because they don't like meat, a new survey shows there's a pretty good chance they might be lying.

1,700 vegetarians were recently polled and more than one-third of them -- 37 percent to be exact-- said they will eat meat when they get drunk. And of those who admitted to eating meat when they drink, 69 percent of them said they do it secretly.

The survey says the go-to grub when you fall off the veggie wagon -- kebabs and hamburgers were named most often, along with bacon, fried chicken and sausage.
