Smoky Conditions In Lower Valley From Log Fire

Smokey conditions in the valley this week from the fire in the Parker area that started on Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters are still dousing hot spots in the fire at Waupaca Materials. Firefighters have put piles of mulch on the fire to try and put it out faster. That decision is working, but it's also caused a lot of smoke in the area.
Because this fire will continue to burn and smoke for at least a few more days, Yakima Regional Clean Air Agency advises people who have respiratory issues to stay indoors
