Slick Roads Early But Temps On The Rise Today

Slick roads covered by ice are greeting drivers again on this Thursday morning but good news is in the forecast. Temperatures are on the rise with a high of 39 degrees Today. But until we get there it's icy and slick not only on roads but sidewalks and driveways so be careful. The Yakima Airport remains closed until later this morning. All flights to and from the Yakima Airport were cancelled overnight. Some schools in the lower valley are closed and some delayed today. I-90 over Snoqualmie pass remains closed until crews can re-access conditions later today. Watch this page for updates.
