Skier Killed In Avalanche Near White Pass

A skier was killed Tuesday in an out-of-bounds area near the White Pass ski area. 31-year-old Adam Roberts of Randall was well known to White Pass community and was considered a family member and great friend to many. Roberts was killed late Tuesday afternoon in an avalanche. No other details have been released about the accident. State officials say heavy snow in the out-of-bounds area has made many mountains more prone to avalanches.
