Should the Government Promote Meatless Mondays? A West Coast City Says Yes.

      New York City has limited the size of soft drinks and now LA is encouraging people to stop eating meat.  I'm sure this will not make those in the California meat industry very happy.  The Los Angeles City Council passed a resolution 12-0 , endorsing the international "Meatless Monday" campaign, which aims to reduce meat consumption for health and enviornmental reasons.  The resolution makes LA the largest city to sign on the "Meatless Campaign"  "The Mike Bastinelli Show" will talk about just how far the government should go to encourage healthy living, and how far should the government go to promote or condemn any segment of the food industry.    F rom 3 to 6 PM today on AM 1280 and FM 99.3 Newstalk KIT.
