Yakima County Sheriff’s Office Tracking Sex Offenders

KNDO

There are 878 sex offenders that now call Yakima County home and the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office and local police agencies are making sure the offenders are registered and monitored on a weekly basis.

Tiffany Gabbard with the Sheriff’s Office urges citizens to check out the agency’s website to find where the most dangerous offenders live.

Just go to the Sheriff’s Office website — there’s a box at the bottom they can click on. They can search for offenders by address or by name.

Of the offenders that call Yakima County home, 54 are Level 3 offenders, which means they are considered the most dangerous and likely to reoffend.

There is a link to the site at the Sheriff’s Office website at yakimacounty.us/sheriff or just Google the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office.
