Sharks Beat Proposals for Scariest But It’s Close – Dave’s Diary

The end of June is just a week away and we can say so long to the month set aside for weddings. But before there can be an “I do!” there has to be a “will you?” That act of faith, hope and love can be downright scary.

In fact, a recent survey shows that on the scare scale, popping the question ranks just below swimming with sharks! The idea of proposing was more frightening to men than jumping out of airplanes, going for a job interview or wearing an opponent's jersey at a sporting event. In the final analysis, swimming with sharks ranked scariest among 28% of the men polled while proposing came in a close second with 23%.  Wait…what about swimming with your mother-in-law?!?
