Shark Tank Moguls Invest in Bellingham-Area Teen

A Washington state 16-year-old probably won't need to deliver pizzas or flip burgers to make a few extra bucks, thanks to an appearance on the ABC television show "Shark Tank."

The Bellingham Herald reports that Henry Miller of Deming, east of Bellingham, sold a 75 percent stake in his honey company for $300,000 to two rich investors.

Miller's company, Henry's Humdingers, makes raw spiced honey. The reality-type show "Shark Tank" features potential investors who hear pitches from entrepreneurs.

In a show that aired Friday night, Mark Cuban, the owner of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks, and high-tech mogul Robert Herjavec made the offer. Miller accepted so he could pay back his parents, who sunk $150,000 into helping him start Henry's Humdingers.
