Several Car Fires Determined to Be Arson

Yakima fire department investigators have officially declared the recent rash of vehicle fires to be arson related.

Investigators determined that six passenger cars have been deliberately set on fire all in a five-day period starting Jan. 15. In all the cases, the cars were found to be unlocked.

Yakima fire investigators are looking for suspects who may be involved with these fires.
