I’ll admit I’m one of those “let the punishment fit the crime” kinda guys so I don’t have a whole lot of sympathy for this or any other overindulging self-inflicted type injury ,

but I thought you needed to know this as a public service.  Ready?  Taking selfies may not be as harmless as you think.

Don’t cry for me Argentina but experts are now saying taking a ton of the photos can result in "selfie elbow," which is much like tennis elbow.

The medical types will tell you if you do the same repeated movement over and over again, your body can start to complain in what is called an overuse injury. Repeated, sustained, small movements-- like holding a camera phone in-front of you and taking lots of shots, can cause repeated micro-trauma to the muscles and tendons in the forearm and wrist muscles.

You can now add "selfie elbow" to the tech trouble list that already includes "text neck," and "texters thumb."   The solution : All things in moderation, right?   (Daily Mail)
