Supporters of the Selah pool are hoping to convince voters to support a levy in august that will keep the pool open beyond this year. The city of Selah has decided against funding the pool past 2012, so voter support for the levy is it's only means of survival. It would raise about 120 thousand dollars every year to help with pool operations. Ballots will be mailed to voters on July 18th for the August 7th primary election.
