Selah Police Investigating A Possible Accidental Death

Selah Police and detectives from the county sheriff’s office are investigating a possible accidental death today. More details are expected to be released soon. Vonda Willis Jean, a 33-year-old Selah woman, was killed Saturday at a home in the 300 block of South Wenas Road. She was taken to a Yakima hospital where she died. Police in a press release are saying a 17-year-old was in the home when the woman was struck by the bullet but are not saying if he was involved in the incident. The investigation continues today. There’s no word if any arrests were made.
