Selah Little League is upset over the city council's decision to impose fees on the league.

The city says its struggling financially and can not afford to solely maintain the city's baseball parks. So, council voted to charge the Yakima Valley Legion Ball league with a $3,000 fee to use its parks.

The city is also cutting back on its maintenance for its little league.

The Selah City council decided not to impose the fee on its own Little League.

The city will still pay for the parks utilities.
