The Selah City Council on Monday approved leasing land to the Selah Parks and Recreation Service Area for a new $6.2 million Selah Aquatics Center at Wixson Park. Contractors will visit the park and look at the current pool Tuesday as they get ready to bid on building the new center.
Voters next Tuesday are being asked to support a $305,000 maintenance and operations levy that will fund the aquatic center’s operation.
