The second in a series of public meetings to discuss the future of Downtown Yakima is set for Wednesday at the Yakima Convention Center. The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. and provide the community with another opportunity to give input on the development of the master plan for downtown.

At the workshop, community members will get a chance to say where they would like to see locations for a public plaza and market, traffic reduction on Yakima Avenue, creating a retail and entertainment spot and determining future parking needs in the downtown core.

Everyone who attends will have the chance to vote on the various concepts that will be presented.
