Seattle's Super Bowl winning quarterback says the Seahawks would treat a player that was openly gay with the utmost respect.

Wilson made the rounds of some of the cable news shows on Tuesday and was asked about Missouri defensive end Michael Sam and his decision to come out as gay before the NFL draft.

He said "You know, you have a lot of respect for someone that can do that. If he’s on our team, I know that we’ll treat him with utmost respect just like everybody else.”

On Tuesday's edition of "Fox and Friends", Wilson spoke some more on that subject, and also talked about how winning the Super Bowl has changed his life.
